What happens at FEAST?

People often ask us…. what actually happens at FEAST?

 

It is great question and we love being asked.

Given that many people have never been to a sex focused retreat or experienced an erotic community of empowered skillful explorers before…. this is a very valid question!

And one that is not exactly simple to answer.

Many things happen at FEAST.

In fact, the journey starts way before you all land at our beautiful venue.

It starts with calling together our elders and organising team as we gather monthly; sharing, planning and supporting each other through all the preparations.

It begins with the careful selection and weaving together of our facilitator team, all of whom are Certified Sexological Bodyworkers with a depth of experience and embodied passion for the work they do.

It involves joyfully choosing and meeting with our volunteer team, all of whom have a deep desire to serve and support the space with humility and care.

We spend time with our caterer working out how best to create and offer incredible food for lunch and dinner each day.  

All these extraordinary humans, collaborate and culminate over many months, to intentionally create an event unlike any other.

When we land, there is a welcoming ceremony with local Aboriginal Elders.

We eat together and meet in our small group support pods.   A great way to get to know people fast.

A two-hour intro workshop follows the next day, where we all get on the same page about consent, agreements and learn or remember skills of embodiment.  

Over the next three days there is an abundant choice of workshop options with content for everyone from beginners to those with years of experience.

There are quite spaces to rest, breath and simply enjoy the sunshine.

There is an evening program and opportunity to dress up and dance!

There is a creek to swim in, luscious grass to laze on and snacks galore.

There is an art hub and elders to chat to.

FEAST is a place to slow down, notice and honour what feels supportive for you, in any moment.

You may do many things on offer or none at all.

FEAST is a space that invites you to intentionally

choose rather than automatically do.

Everyone has their own unique journey of FEAST and it is different every time.

But what is always consistently true is that FEAST is a community that celebrates the richness of diversity, holds itself with integrity and care, and offers a supportive space for curious souls to learn and explore.
