The gift and benefit of learning with like minded folk

Sex is relational.

Healing is relational.

Pleasure is relational.

All these things can happen individually but when we add other humans in the mix, the potential for more growth, learning and experiencing becomes possible.

Topics of sex, intimacy and bodies are often taboo and shroud in shame.

Even open, honest conversations about these things are not welcome or feel very awkward, so we just don’t go there.

Yet all these things are a part of our lives and for many are a very valuable and important resource and expression of who we truly are.

It is often really hard to find like minded folk who want to geek out, explore and share these types of things.

People who are curious about what makes sex great and how to continually grow and deepen erotic pleasure.

People who want to push edges and see what else is possible.

People who want to share touch.

People who simply want to fill their erotic cup because…

it matters.

As a consequence, we can limit our learning and experiences as we find ourselves isolated and lacking in safe, caring spaces to explore.

I remember the relief I felt when I first met a group of humans who finally got me and how important all this things truly are.   

It was so liberating to simply be in their company and witness how they held their bodies and found words for things I had never spoken.

My fear and shame gently slipped away as I

intentionally kept seeking their company.

They invited me along in a way that felt so supportive and full of choice.

I said, saw and did things I never imagined were possible for me.

That liberation spread into everything I did and to everyone I spent time with.  

Not because I openly shared it outside this group.

But because it changed me.

That group are the core of FEAST.

Some are the same humans.

All are the same flavour.

Magic happens when groups of this nature gather.

Something beyond what we can experience and achieve on our own.

I have never looked back since taking that first tentative step into erotic community.

The journey has been a gift beyond words. It lives in the vibrancy of my step, the aliveness of my body and joyfulness of the pleasure-filled relationship and life I lead.
