The Facilitator Experience
Over the last 5 years, FEAST has been established as a central gathering point and pillar of the Somatic Sex Education profession. We are so deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to our events and helped build this community.
As we step into the next chapter of FEAST and work on our 2026 retreat, we are looking for facilitators who are dedicated to developing themselves and innovative ways of educating. This community is more than just an annual event - we are a growing movement, actively exploring ways to increase the positive impact and ongoing connection of this network.
We are investing in building teams that want to nurture this vision, so that the value and potency of what everyone gives to and receives from FEAST, continues to grow. There are going to be fewer facilitator places connected to the 2026 retreat, and a higher number of opportunities to facilitate, including potential pre-retreat activation events where our team can receive more eyes on their work and deliver more value to the community.

Facilitators need to be excited to help promote and enrol FEAST. This is an area we are seeking specialised support in, and investing time and resource to increasing our reach and consistency. As someone on our team you will both be contributing to and benefiting from this new level of momentum and commitment to promoting our work.
Where we'll need you
The festival program will have 3 workshop streams running simultaneously, across 3 separate rooms at the venue; a small, medium and large space.
There is approximately 110 participants plus facilitators, volunteers and team meaning the ideal attendee split across the 3 spaces will be 25-35 (small space), 30-50 (medium space) and 40-60 (large space).
Plan to work with any group and room sizes because the more flexible you are the easier it will be for us to schedule you into the program. If you have ideal and/or specific requirements please note them in the relevant space in the application form and we will take them into account.
What we're looking for in workshops
Creativity, innovation, diversity and clarity are driving factors in determining what makes up the FEAST program.
We want our participants to have quality, potent, engaging and empowering experiences in all the workshops they attend.

We need variety in the targetted experience levels and content of workshops on offer. Please tell us in your application if your workshop is for anyone or beginners or advanced players, for example. Remember that, separate to their level of experience, your workshop needs to be inclusive for people of all identities and orientations.

We have noticed that some of the most potent workshops in our past programs have two things. Firstly, very clear and direct learning or developmental intent (i.e. what you're teaching or guiding your participants to learn/practice/embody). And secondly, engaging, unique, positively challenging experiences that genuinely move your participants and invite them into new transformation and integration of what you are teaching.

When there is synergy between these elements, new possibilities emerge and there is a natural variety in the offerings that you, as potential facilitators, submit.
