Ground & Gather Art Space | Ongoing

Vanessa is offering a communal art space at FEAST as a place to rest, reflect, and integrate your festival experiences. It is an open, drop-in space where people can make art, sit quietly, connect with others, or simply be, at their own pace.

Artmaking is optional and self-directed, with no expectation to create anything in a particular way. No art experience is required, and guidance is available if wanted. The space is held as a shared place for exploration, grounding, and integration.

Wanting & Willing: A Wheel of Consent Workshop

This Wheel of Consent workshop explores the distinction between wanting and willing, and how these show up in lived, embodied experience. Wanting and willing are often mistaken for the same thing.

Through the Wheel of Consent, the differences become clearer, offering practical skills for getting what you want, staying within your limits, and creating interactions that work for everyone.

The session invites participants to notice desire, limits, and choice as they arise in real time through simple, consent-based practices. It supports people to build and refine communication and boundary skills that can be useful during the festival and beyond. This workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with prior experience.

We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We recognise, celebrate and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Australians. We acknowledge their unique wisdom and cultural and spiritual relationships to the land and waters, as we strive for equality and accessibility in education.
