Celebrating the diversity of our erotic natures, Julian values slowing down for bringing increased pleasure and how exploring embodiment can yield significant mental health benefits. An unashamed ‘pleasure activist’, Julian recognises how ignorance and taboo stemming from social, family and cultural conditioning often shames sexuality, limiting our access to pleasure.

As an educator and speaker willing to share from personal experience, he is engaging, personable and playfully, willing to break the ice on topics that can feel awkward. Julian has presented workshops and intimacy exercises at retreats and festivals around Australia and online. He offers bodywork sessions, individual sex & pleasure coaching 1-on-1, for couples and sexuality education group facilitation.

Julian Jayar is a Somatic Sex Educator, a trained and Certified Sexological Bodyworker, graduate of the Urban Tantra Professional Training Program studying under Barbara Carellas and professional member of the Somatic Sex Educators Association of Australia (SSEAA).

Embodied Empowered Communication

This workshop provides the space for practicing embodiment while leaning into vulnerable
communication and sequencing stuck emotions through the body, to enhance confidence,
body trust, liberation and empowerment.

We know that vulnerability is a powerful tool when we move towards it, rather than
avoiding, but to get more comfortable with discomfort, we need to practice to allow our
nervous system to feel at greater ease when we move towards vulnerable communication.
Fear is what gets in the way - It’s way too easy to procrastinate and avoid when we feel
challenged. We rob ourselves of experiencing the connection and desires we crave.
When we look at what we’re afraid of, we learn that this where we can grow. Our
challenges are here to catapult us into higher realms of trust, body integrity, love, pleasure,
and connection than we’ve ever imagined.

Participants will be guided in embodied connection exercises with the invitation to practice
leaning into vulnerable expression to learn from the Body – our wonderful truth master!
