How many and what type of workshops/classes have you previously facilitated?
I have been teaching Erotic Embodiment for the ISS and the 4 Erotic Explorers 3 years now. I have facilitated at KiwiBurn & Ignition festivals in NZ, facilitated many live erotic embodiment classes & workshops. My style is fun and inclusive, with a focus on experimentation and trying new things.
What qualities do you bring to your facilitation?
My style is fun and inclusive, with a focus on experimentation and trying new things.
What relevant skills and experience/qualifications do you have in addition to Sexological Bodywork?
What I think I bring is a genuine enthusiasm & love for this field of work. So much magic happens when we allow the bodies wisdom to inform and lead. My strengths are the ability to hyperfocus on a task but be flexible to adapt as the situation arises & stay curious while remaining grounded in group teaching situations. For some reason public speaking has never frightened me but rather excited me. My weakness is potentially the same things if I don’t contain my excitement.
Facilitator Bio
Hi. I’m Patrick, he/they, queer, sex positive, ecosexual, Neurospicey Sexological Bodyworker & Somatic Sex Educator and Erotic Explorer. Born in the deep south of NZ, I now call the Macedon Ranges just north of Melbourne home. I have a genuine passion for being in as well as facilitating group classes and workshops. I think we can dive in deep when we are in well held spaces and we can learn so much from each other when we share.
My particular area of interest is supporting people who are wanting to explore their erotic potential through new ways of doing things. I work with individuals, couples or groups, in person and on-line including teaching regular Erotic Embodiment classes as part of the 4 Erotic Explorers Teaching Collective & the Institute of Somatic Sexology. I’m also passionate about delivering live workshops on, eco sexuality, anal care and touch, penis care and touch as well as vulva care & touch.

Workshop 1 program description:
Inspired by Kaggi’s Etheric Cock workshop at Feast 2023, this year Patrick invites you to explore your etheric Vulva. Regardless of whether you already have a vulva or not this workshop intends to explore the pleasure potential of your energetic - etheric Vulva.
We will get curious about the construction, shape & feel plus how that might map onto our physical body energetically & beyond. There will be time to nurture & explore pleasure without any preconceived idea of where or how it might show up. Everybody is welcome in this space regardless of your physical genital expression or pronoun's.
Workshop 2 Name:
Sensual Rope and Restraint Exploration
# of participants:
20
Workshop 2 duration:
90 Minute Workshop
Equipment needed:
We will need speaker, cushions, rugs, a few chairs. A safety spotter Patrick will supply; Some spare rope. A pair of safety shares, A back up pair of shears for the Safety spotter.
Workshop 2's Intention:
Introducing new ways to play with rope & restraints to create new pleasure pathways.
Rope & restraint as a self pleasure practice can be a great tool for students to explore self sovereignty.
This is “Taking” in action in a self pleasure practise, the student has to “do” to take pleasure.
A benefit of this self pleasure practise is that it removes power dynamics in partnered rope play.
Its inclusive of all people regardless of wether they have a partner, they won’t get paired with a random person & can focus on their own experience without any complication or confusion in communication with another person.
I also believe it is a much safer way to explore with rope. I’ve been developing this class for around 2 years now and I’ve never once observed a student do anything that was in any way dangerous or risky. On the other hand I see partnered rope often pushing boundaries and exceeding physical safety limits.
Students don’t have a sub-space experience & don’t crash out afterwards.
Workshop 2 rough format:
I will use ESAR model
The practise has some moving around for social engagement then students find a space for the duration of the class.
We do a body scan using a found or brought object to trace or discover the body from top to bottom.
We install & check in
Study House keeping and safety contract. Including physical safety, no strangling or suffocating. Talk about sensitive and risky areas and how to look after your body & avoid nerve damage.
WE return to a comfortable position, this time using rope or restraints, firstly to discover different ways to produce sensation then to introduce the erotic potential of the pause as well as exploring the effects of compression.
We check in and share.
Then use the remaining time for activation. Installation & integration with time to share
Workshop 2 program description:
A self pleasure practice exploring the erotic potential of rope & restraints. Whether you have experience or not this is an invitation to get curious about ways we can explore using rope & restraints to create new sensations & possibly expanded pleasure states. You may wish to bring rope, belts, straps, bondage outfits, harnesses, collars, dressing gown ties or necktie. I will supply rope for anyone who needs it so you don’t need to bring anything except yourself. We will experiment with the sensations of gently introducing these restraints to our body & the pleasure potential they may add to our practice today & in the future. This is not a technical class. We won’t be practising tying knots. Everyone is welcome.

Workshop 3 program description:
A self pleasure practice that invites you to feel into your Fatty tissues to explore the pleasure potential of our fatty tissues. What comes up for you as you read this? Why do some of us feel so much guilt & shame around our fat while others proudly flaunt it.
For some of us, especially when we were young, we were told by our elders that we could do with fattening up, for others we have been told that we need to be smaller. How can we celebrate all that we are? What happens when we intend to explore this aspect of ourselves with curiosity?
There is nothing special that you need to bring to this class, toys are welcome and may help support your learning. All bodies are welcome.
Are you interested in/able to facilitate any other group experiences?
I’m happy to run a before breakfast EE class one morning 60 minutes. I’m more than happy to facilitate a check in circle.
EO: Support space / info booth:
or More than happy to do a shift of a few hours.
Is there anything else that you would like us to know as organisers?
I'm feeling much happier & better resourced this year. I'm excited but also not attached to outcome. There are no losers only winners.
